Alexis Vatteroni Studies at University of Amsterdam

Eastern Student Alexis Vatteroni '14 of Coventry, CT, recently completed a study abroad program at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Vatteroni is majoring in Sociology.Vatteroni took multiple classes including Experiencing Differences, Social Stratification, Gender and Social Trends and Problems and Policies while at UvA.

"It was an extraordinary experience," said Vatteroni. "I got to explore a little bit of the world, take classes in a different approach than I'm used to and meet new people. I think these are all wonderful ways to prepare you for life. I feel that I have a much better idea of who I am and what is truly important to me."
