Eastern Connecticut State University held its 14th Annual Arts and Sciences Research Conference and Exhibition at the end of the spring semester. The event featured oral and visual presentations of student-led scientific research and artwork. More than 50 presentations were delivered by students from a range of academic departments.

Adam St. Denis '14 of Uncasville, CT, presented a research project at the event. St. Denis's major is Computer Science and the faculty mentor was Russell Sampson and Jian Lin. The project's title was "The Process of Creating a Meteorology and Astronomy Viewing Station for the Eastern Connecticut State University Planetarium" (Sampson) and "Interfacing GPS Modules with a Self-Navigating Scale Model Car to Provide Accurate, Real-Time Tracking." (Lin)
