Eastern Connecticut State University Student Emily Story of Groton Participates in 14th Annual Arts and Sciences Research Conference

Eastern Connecticut State University held its 14th Annual Arts and Sciences Research Conference and Exhibition at the end of the spring semester. The event featured oral and visual presentations of student-led scientific research and artwork. More than 50 presentations were delivered by students from a range of academic departments.

Emily Story '14 of Groton, CT, presented a research project at the event. Story's major is English and the faculty mentor was Maureen McDonnell. The project's title was "Monsters: Validating Women Characters within Jane Eyre, Wide Sargasso Sea, The Venus Hottentot, and The Yellow Wallpaper."
