Eastern Connecticut State University Student Erin Conn of Moriches Participates in 14th Annual Arts and Sciences Research Conference

Eastern Connecticut State University held its 14th Annual Arts and Sciences Research Conference and Exhibition at the end of the spring semester. The event featured oral and visual presentations of student-led scientific research and artwork. More than 50 presentations were delivered by students from a range of academic departments.

Erin Conn '14 of Moriches, NY, presented a research project at the event. Conn's major is Biology and the faculty mentor was Patricia Szczys. The project's title was "Identification of Novel Microsatellites in the Whiskered Tern, Chlidonias Hybrida."
