Eastern Connecticut State University held its 14th Annual Arts and Sciences Research Conference and Exhibition at the end of the spring semester. The event featured oral and visual presentations of student-led scientific research and artwork. More than 50 presentations were delivered by students from a range of academic departments.

Jalpa Patel '14 of Bethel, CT, presented a research project at the event. Patel's major is Psychology and the faculty mentor was Madeleine Fugère. The project's title was "Effect of Stereotype Threat on Mathematical Performance of Male and Female College Students."
