Margaret Sayers of Windsor Locks, CT, is a member of the women's soccer team.

Sayers is a back/midfielder on the team.

The Eastern Connecticut State University women's soccer team was ranked among the Top 10 in the first NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III New England polls of the 2013 season, released Sept. 4. After the first week of the regular season, the Eastern women opened at No. 8.

The women opened their season on Aug.30 at Mansfield Outdoor Complex, taking home a 2-0 win against University of Saint Joseph. The Warriors then went on to defeat Fitchburg State University on Aug. 31 (4-0) Farmingdale State University (1-0) on Sept. 6 and Westfield State University (1-0) on Sept. 14.
