2012 Mar 23

Local Eastern Connecticut State University student Michael Hinton '12 from New London, CT, was recognized at the annual Region I Kennedy Center American Theatre Festival (KCACTF), held at Fitchburg College in Fitchburg, MA, in late January. The Region I KCACTF brings together theatre students, faculty and staff from CT, MA, RI, VT, NH, ME and eastern NY. Each year, these members of the theatre community come together to participate in theatre performance, design and production through this festival. The KCACTF encourages and celebrates diverse work created in college and university theatre programs; gives students opportunities to achieve professionalism and experience in the field; and encourages colleges and universities to produce new plays, revitalized classics and experimental works.
