Eastern Connecticut State University Student Nicole Prasser of Manchester Participates in 14th Annual Arts and Sciences Research Conference

Eastern Connecticut State University held its 14th Annual Arts and Sciences Research Conference and Exhibition at the end of the spring semester. The event featured oral and visual presentations of student-led scientific research and artwork. More than 50 presentations were delivered by students from a range of academic departments.

Nicole Prasser '14 of Manchester, CT, presented a research project at the event. Prasser's major is Elementary Education and Mathematics and the faculty mentor was Peter Johnson & William Salka. The project's title was "Alignment of the Common Core State Standards and Assessments in the State of Connecticut for Third Grade Mathematics."
