Eastern Connecticut State University Student Whitney Allen of East Lyme Participates in 14th Annual Arts and Sciences Research Conference

Eastern Connecticut State University held its 14th Annual Arts and Sciences Research Conference and Exhibition at the end of the spring semester. The event featured oral and visual presentations of student-led scientific research and artwork. More than 50 presentations were delivered by students from a range of academic departments.

Whitney Allen '15 of East Lyme, CT, presented a research project at the event. Allen's major is Psychology and the faculty mentor was Mary Kenny and Peter Bachiochi. The project's title was "The Rise of Colorism" (Kenny) and "Food Perceptions: How Color and Brand Name Influence Food Preferences." (Bachiochi)
