Eastern Connecticut State University Visual Arts Student Sean Duggan of Norwich, CT, Assists in Creating Science Building Display

Two Digital Art and Design majors recently designed and implemented artwork that is displayed in glass display cases in Eastern's Science Building. The purpose of the art project was to create a visual tour of the academic programs and lab projects that take place within the building.

The contributing students developed a concept that highlighted student testimonials of what math and science majors have gained through their academic and hands-on learning experiences in the facility.

Sean Duggan of Norwich, CT, was one of two students that created the artwork for the glass display cases. Duggan's major is Visual Arts.

The purpose of the Science Building display case project is to tell the story of student and faculty life achieved and experienced within the building. Each display includes a Quick Response (QR) Code that allows the person viewing the display to access additional information about the related program from their departmental web site.
