Eastern Connecticut State University's Xavier Doran Named Little East Conference Men's Soccer All-LEC First Team

Xavier Doran '18, of Hebron majoring in History and Social Science, was named Little East Conference All-LEC first team in the sport of men's soccer for the first time.

Doran shares the LEC lead in assists (8), is ranked third in points (28), and tied for third in goals (10). Three of his four game-winning goals came in consecutive victories over Fitchburg State University and the University of Southern Maine and with less than two minutes left in double-overtime against over Rhode Island College. Half of his ten goals came in the final five matches of the year for Doran, who had two hat tricks on the season.

Eastern men's soccer team was top seed in the Little East Conference playoffs. The men finished with at least a piece of the regular-season title for the fourth time in five years and for the sixth time overall under ninth-year head coach Greg DeVito, compiling an LEC record of 5-1-1 and final overall mark of 14-4-1. The men lost in the semifinal round of the playoffs.
