Eastern Environmental Earth Science Student Bryce Mase of Northford Recognized at Awards Ceremony

2018 May 15

A group of Eastern Connecticut State University students were honored at the annual Environmental Earth Science (EES) Department's awards ceremony on May 3. Awards were bestowed upon students who excelled in research or academic excellence.

Bryce Mase '18 of Northford, who majors in Mathematics and Environmental Earth Science, was presented with the Geomorphology Research Recognition Award.

Eastern's Department of Environmental Earth Science provides students with an educational foundation in environmental geoscience that draws upon classroom, online, laboratory and field-based experiences. Students develop an understanding of the natural world, its materials, processes and geologic records of environmental change, associated energy and sustainability issues, and the relevance of these issues to Eastern's liberal arts mission.
