Eastern Student Alexa Plante of North Franklin Inducted into English Honor Society

Eastern student Alexa Plante '16 of North Franklin was recently inducted into Sigma Tau Delta, the international honor society for English. Plante majors in English.

Inductees to the chapter are students who have set themselves apart as exceptional English majors. Chapter sponsor Allison Speicher welcomed the members into the group when she presented them with their certificates.

Sigma Tau Delta, an international English honor society that was founded in 1924, prides itself on having members who exhibit academic excellence, an appreciation for English and who foster and promote learning in the community. The society has 870 active chapters, including Eastern's own Alpha Delta Epsilon chapter.
