Eastern Student Alexandra Steel of Foxboro Recognized by English Department For Excelling in First-Year Writing Program

Alexandra Steel '17 of Foxboro, MA, was recently recognized for exceptional writing in the First-Year Writing Program at Eastern Connecticut State University. Steel's major is psychology.

When considering potential recipients, professors in the English Department look for student writers who craft pieces that are innovative, creative, thoroughly researched and uniquely articulated. Steel was selected based on her creativity in crafting work that was original, inventive and uniquely articulated during her participation in the First-Year Writing Program.
