Eastern Student Alexia Bohnenkamper of Collinsville Attends Annual Geological Conference

In March, Eastern Connecticut State University Environmental Earth Science (EES) faculty and students attended the Geological Society of America (GSA) Northeastern Section Annual Meeting in Burlington, VT.

Alexia Bohnenkamper '18 of Collinsville was one of the students that attended along with EES Professors Drew Hyatt, Peter Drzewiecki and Bryan Oakley. Bohnenkamper's major is Environmental Earth Science.

Bohnenkamper presented her research project, "Comparing Measured Shoreline Change Using the Position of the Last High Tide Swash and Bluff Crest Between 1952 and 2014-16 for Block Island, Rhode Island." Her faculty mentor for the project was Professor Bryan Oakley.
