Eastern Student-Athlete Lauren Valenti of Walpole Earns LEC All-Academic Honors

The Little East Conference (LEC) All-Academic Team for the fall 2017 semester has been announced, and Eastern Connecticut State University is well represented. With 35 student-athletes named to the team this semester, including a record 13 members of the women's soccer team (the most by any institution in any sport), Eastern ranks second among conference institutions in honorees.

Among the student-athletes named to the team is Lauren Valenti '19 of Walpole. Valenti, who played soccer, currently majors in Biology.

To qualify for a spot on the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore and have earned at a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher.
