Eastern Student Brittany Hill Presents Research at Psychological Science Night

2015 Dec 15

Twenty-nine exemplary psychology students from Eastern Connecticut State University presented their research on Dec. 11 at the department's annual Psychological Science Night.

Among the students was Brittany Hill '17, who majors in Psychology. Mentored by Psychology Professor James Diller, Hill's poster presentation was titled "Quality of Family Environment and Adult Attachment Styles in Close Interpersonal Relationships."

"Research takes classroom experience and applies it to tangible, practical work," said Psychology Professor Carlos Escoto, faculty mentor to many student researchers. "The presentation of the research is also important," he added, speaking to the communication and organization skills needed for an effective presentation.
