Eastern Student Courtney Danieluk of Lisbon Participates in University Club

Courtney Danieluk '15 of Lisbon, CT, participated in the Best Buddies Club at Eastern Connecticut State University during the spring 2015 semester. Danieluk's major is Early Childhood Education.

Eastern students who participate in clubs/organizations excel in the classroom and do better academically than students who do not participate. Students participating in clubs had an average GPA of 3.10, much higher than the 2.94 average for those students not taking part in any of the 73 clubs/organizations.

Clubs/organizations and their programs have a direct impact on the daily life of all students on Eastern's campus. The programs range from social to educational, physical to spiritual, and civic engagement programs, many of which also benefit the local community.
