Eastern Student Kayla Giordano of Salem Inducted Into Economics Honor Society

The economics department at Eastern Connecticut State University inducted eight high-achieving students into its honor society, Omicron Delta Epsilon, on April 20. Among the inductees was Kayla Giordano '16 of Salem, who majors in Political Science and Economics.

Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international honor society in economics, is among the most prestigious and oldest of all academic honor societies. It seeks to recognize and reward distinguished achievements in economic science. Omicron Delta Epsilon is governed by an international executive board, and sponsors selective research initiatives, publishes its journal, "The American Economist," and recognizes achievement through various prestigious and acclaimed awards.
