Eastern Student Kelly Reardon of Holyoke Concludes Successful Season with Warriors Basketball Team

2017 Mar 28

The Eastern Connecticut State University Women's Basketball team concluded its 2016-17 season this March with a stellar 20-9 record, with a phenomenal 12-2 record against conference opponents and an 11-4 record at home. The team reached the Little East Conference (LEC) championship game but unfortunately came up short against Keene State.

Among the team's student-athletes was Kelly Reardon '18 of Holyoke, who played guard. Reardon majors in Communication.

Reardon averaged 6.9 points per game, 2.1 rebounds per game and 2.7 assists per game. "I've been very happy with Kelly," said Coach Denise Bierly. "She's been one of our most consistent players. She was ready to be our starting point guard this year. She played within herself, took good shots when they were there and played great defense."

Despite losing in the LEC championship, the Eastern Warriors competed in the NCAA Division 3 Tournament.
