Eastern Student Kelly Reardon of Holyoke Inducted into Communication Honor Society

A number of Eastern Connecticut State University students were recently inducted into Lambda Pi Eta, the national honor society for the field of communication.

Kelly Reardon '18 of Holyoke was one of the inductees. Reardon's major is Communication.

The society recognizes students who have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, a communication studies GPA of at least 3.25, are in the upper 35 percent of their graduating class, are enrolled in good standing and display a commitment to the field of communication.

"Eastern's chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, Tau Nu, includes many students who have not only achieved academic excellence according to the national standards, but have also demonstrated professional competence in the many applied areas of communication. This includes video, audio, print journalism, photography, interpersonal communication, public relations, advertising and social media," said Professor Terri Toles-Patkin.
