Eastern Student Leah Magnoli of Rocky Hill Completes Study Abroad to Ireland

Leah Magnoli '18 of Rocky Hill recently completed a study abroad trip to Ireland. Magnoli's major is Labor Relations/Human Resource Management.

Leah's coursework at Dublin City University included Global Cultures; Social Psychology; Organizational Psychology; Introduction to Marketing; and Citizenship, Diversity and Inclusion.

"I felt very much at home in Dublin and I appreciated all of the amazing friends I met there," said Magnoli. She also took advantage of her location and took side trips to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Scotland, Italy, Northern Ireland and other countries.

"Study abroad gives you a very different perspective on the world and the everyday life we are all used to. It also gives you the opportunity to learn a lot about yourself and become much more independent," said Magnoli.
