Eastern Student Nadine Menard of Woodstock Inducted into Biology Honor Society

Fourteen students from Eastern Connecticut State University were inducted into the TriBeta Honor Society on April 13. Nadine Menard '12 of Woodstock, CT, was one of the inductees. Menard's major is Biology.

The Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) National Biology Honor Society is dedicated to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological study and extending the boundaries of human knowledge through scientific research.

The ceremony was highlighted by two presentations: "The Anatomical and Physiological Underpinnings of Coral Competitive Outcomes," by previous inductees, Sarah Salois and David Stein, and "Behavior of Chlamydomonas Gametes Following Readdition of Nitrogen" by Nicholas Mills.

Eastern Connecticut State University is the state's public liberal arts university. Eastern serves approximately 5,600 students each year on its Willimantic campus and satellite locations.
