Eastern Student Sabrina Davis of Willimantic Recognized by Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges

Several students from Eastern Connecticut State University were recently recognized by the national organization, Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Sabrina Davis '16 of Willimantic, CT, was one of the students recognized. Davis's major is Pre-Social Work. Davis was chosen from a pool of nearly 100 applicants. All of the students were nominated by faculty members who felt they epitomized the ideals of a hard-working college student and made contributions to both the University and the local community. A diverse committee of professors and administrators was then tasked with narrowing down the list to students who embraced the culture of the University and excelled inside and outside of the classroom.

Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges focuses on recognizing students strictly based on merit and achievement, and "remains dedicated to the legacy that excellence in the face of adversity must be celebrated without a price tag." The organization now recognizes students from more than 2,000 colleges and universities in all 50 states.
