Eastern Student Tarchee Brown of Vernon Concludes Successful Season with Warriors Basketball Team

The Eastern Connecticut State University Men's Basketball team concluded its 2016-17 season this March with a stellar 21-9 record, becoming champions of the Little East Conference (LEC).

Among the team's student-athletes was Tarchee Brown '18 of Vernon, who played guard. Brown majors in Sociology.

Head caoch Bill Geitner said, "Tarchee was relied heavily upon this season in many aspects, including scoring and rebounding. We expected the same type of performance that he's provided over his last two seasons."

Brown averaged 18.5 points per game, 4.9 rebounds per game and 2.7 assists per game.

Upon taking the LEC championship, the Eastern Warriors competed in the NCAA Division 3 Tournament.
