Eastern Student Weronika Lewkowicz of Southington Receives Biology Award

Eastern Connecticut State University's Biology Department recently bestowed awards upon students who achieved excellence in academic excellence, research and as teaching assistants.

Weronika Lewkowicz '16 of Southington, CT, was one of the awardees. Lewkowicz's major is Biology. Lewkowicz received an award for Academic Excellence.

According to Biology Professor and Chair Gloria J. Coluso, "Honors and award programs provide a meaningful opportunity to publicly recognize and celebrate student achievements in scholarship, research and service.
