Eastern's Tarchee Brown of Vernon Selected as LEC Basketball Player-of-the-Week

Eastern Connecticut State University student Tarchee Brown '18 of Vernon received the Little East Conference (LEC) Men's Basketball Player-of-the-Week award for the week ending Feb. 25. This is the third LEC Player-of-the-Week award Brown has received this season. Brown majors in Sociology.

Brown averaged 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game during the Warrior's three games in the LEC tournament. In the team's 79-62 win in the LEC championship game over Keene State College, Brown recorded 21 points, nine rebounds, five assists and three blocked shots. The performance netted Brown the Most-Outstanding-Player for the tournament, on top of his Player-of-the-Week award.
