Eastern student-athlete Christopher Gorman and men's lacrosse team poised for rebound

2018 Mar 9

After a disappointing 2016-17 season that saw the Warriors lose 10 of 18 games, the Eastern Connecticut State University men's lacrosse team is looking to reestablish itself as a serious contender in the Little East Conference. Thanks to the return of 16 letter winners from last year, the team is looking to bounce back after only the second losing season in program history.

Among the student athletes playing for this season's team is Christopher Gorman '19 of Shrewsbury. Gorman plays the goaltender position and majors in undeclared.

So far in the 2017-18 season, the Warriors have a record of 2-1. Their next competition is March 11 at Whittier College. The team's schedule and more can be viewed at http://www.gowarriorathletics.com/sports/mlax/2017-18/schedule.

The Little East Conference (LEC) was established in 1986 as a single-sport league by six public institutions throughout New England. The LEC has since become a multi-sport league with eight primary members, six affiliate members and 19 championships.
