Kelsey Falcone of Somers Participates in Global Field Course in Zurich and London

From May 17 - 28, Eastern Connecticut State University students took a global field course in Zurich, Switzerland and London, England to learn about the cities' business practices, marketing approaches and cultural history.

Among the students was Kelsey Falcone '15 of Somers. Falcone's major is Business Administration.

Along with visiting tourist sites such as the National Museum of Zurich and the Globe Theatre in London, students toured several businesses, including Roche Diagnostics, London Metal Exchange, Chelsea Football Club and the BBC.

"This was my first trip taking students abroad, and I'm glad I can say with certainty that everyone enjoyed themselves immensely, and had an experience of a lifetime." said faculty advisor Katalin Eibel-Spanyi, professor of marketing. "We visited several organizations, studied the history of the cities, experienced their different cultures and toured major attractions."
