Michael Beckstein of Colchester Inducted into Economics Honor Society

Thirteen high-achieving economics students at Eastern Connecticut State University were inducted into Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE), the international honor society for economics, at the conclusion of the 2016-17 academic year.

Among the inductees was Michael Beckstein '18 of Colchester, who majors in Music and Economics.

ODE is among the most prestigious and oldest of the academic honor societies. It seeks to recognize and reward distinguished achievements in economic science. The honor society is governed by an international executive board and sponsors selective research initiatives, publishes its journal, "the American Economist," and recognizes achievement through various awards.
