Soccer Player Xavier Doran Named to LEC All-Conference Team

Because of stellar fall 2017 seasons, nine student-athletes from the men's and women's soccer teams at Eastern Connecticut State University were named to all-conference teams for the Little East Conference (LEC). A total of 48 players across the eight-team conference were selected to first and second all-conference teams.

Among them is Xavier Doran '18 of Hebron, who majors in Communication. Doran was named first team All-LEC for the third season in a row. The midfielder was second on the team with eight points (three goals and two assists). He also started 17 of 18 matches this seasoning while averaging 81.1 minutes per game.

The Little East Conference (LEC) was established in 1986 as a single-sport league by six public institutions throughout New England. The LEC has since become a multi-sport league with eight primary members, six affiliate members and 19 championship.
