Media Advisory: Eastern to Hold TIMPANI Toy Press Conference, Museum
Willimantic, CT (12/02/2019) — Tomorrow, Dec. 3, Eastern Connecticut State University will hold a press conference for its 10th annual TIMPANI toy study at 9:30 a.m. in the Joinery of the Center for Early Childhood Education (CECE).

TIMPANI stands for "Toys that Inspire Mindful Play and Nurture Imagination." Following the press conference, members of the media will be invited to see 30 of the highest-scoring toys over the years, arranged in a "museum" with children from Eastern's on-campus preschool at play. The children have photo releases.
TIMPANI is a scientific study that has received international acclaim. Faculty and student researchers will be available for interviews and toy insight-just in time for the holiday season!
