At the event 34 new members were inducted into the Lambda Pi Eta National Communications Honor Society and awarded for their outstanding accomplishments in the communication major. Upwards of 200 faculty, family, friends and honorees attended the ceremony.

Eastern Connecticut State University's History Department inducted 22 new members into its American honors society Phi Alpha Theta. The ceremony was held on April 4 and recognized students with high academic performance within the department.

Eastern Connecticut State University held its inaugural Iota Iota Iota (Triota) induction on April 12, launching the Epsilon Gamma Chapter by recognizing student and alumni members.
