Eastern to Reopen Campus for Fall Semester
Willimantic, CT (05/29/2020) — Eastern Connecticut State University will be open for on-campus classes this fall to provide students with the high-quality, residential liberal arts education they expect and deserve. Classes will begin on August 26, 2020.
The University is currently developing a combination of face-to-face and hybrid courses and also expects students to return to residence halls. Throughout the planning, Eastern is committed to ensuring that all students, faculty and staff can learn and work in a safe and healthy campus environment.
University faculty and staff are working diligently to adapt campus operations to ensure that Eastern in compliant with state and national health and safety protocols related to COVID-19. Recognizing that circumstances can change suddenly, the University is also preparing for alternative scenarios should it need to pivot to online instruction.
