- Documenting and reinterpreting the past
- Legacies of oppression

2. Equity and Social Justice Awards Ceremony

- Where: Art Gallery, Fine Arts Instructional Center, Eastern Connecticut State University
Eastern will recognize three outstanding student leaders with its annual Equity and Social Justice Awards, honoring their activism and commitment to justice:
- Ella Grasso Award: Gabriela Varela Santana, Atlanta, GA - for driving systemic change
- Cesar Chavez Award: Cecilia Melendez Perez, Chelsea, MA - for accountability and social change
- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Award: Hatshepsu S. Coutain-Julien, West Hartford, CT - for advocacy and civil rights
