Media Advisory: Eastern to host conversation with Attorney General William Tong

Willimantic, CT (10/28/2025) — Eastern Connecticut State University will host a conversation with Connecticut's Attorney General William Tong on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 3 p.m. in the Student Center Theatre.

Members of the media are invited to attend. The event is geared toward Eastern students.

Attorney General Tong will join Eastern President Karim Ismaili for a discussion on leadership, justice, and the role of education in shaping communities. The conversation will explore topics such as:

  • What it's like to serve as the state's top lawyer
  • How leaders navigate today's political and social challenges
  • Why the liberal arts matter in public life
