A Historical Background on Recent Events in Iran

Willimantic, CT (01/23/2020) — On Jan. 28 from noon to 1 p.m. in Webb 358, Eastern Connecticut State University History Professor Stefan Kamola will discuss recent events in Iran and Iraq related to the assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, as well as the historical context for what is taking place today in that part of the world. The talk is the first in what will be a series of "Flash History Lectures" presented by History faculty on various topics.
