A number of Eastern students commit to student internships as an on-site practical work experience with a company or organization that can provide them with firsthand knowledge of a career field. Several Eastern Connecticut State University students have been selected to participate in an internship with the University's Institute for Sustainable Energy (ISE).

Thirteen high-achieving theatre students from Eastern Connecticut State University worked summer internships in theatres across New England.

Eastern student Emily Komornik recently completed a summer internship with Durant Nichols Houston PC, an employment attorney office located in Bridgeport.

Eastern student Jillian Olderman is one of the few young people in the United States to intern with Israel Lacrosse this summer. From June 1 to July 29, Olderman will develop the sport of lacrosse in Israel through the recruitment and outreach of children in the Israeli school system. The program also aims to bring Israelis and Palestinians together through sport.
