Three students from Eastern Connecticut State University were recognized at the ninth annual Library Research Awards at the conclusion of the 2018-19 academic year.

Two Eastern Connecticut State University students presented their research on the world stage on May 23-25 at the second annual World Conference on Undergraduate Research (WCUR) in Oldenburg, Germany.

Forty-three students from Eastern Connecticut State University traveled to Georgia on April 11-13 to present original research at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR). The 2019 conference occurred at Kennesaw State University and featured hundreds of undergraduate students from across the country.

The 10th TIMPANI study--Toys that Inspire Mindful Play and Nurture Imagination--concluded on Dec. 4 with a reveal of this year's winning toy: "Magz Clix" (previously known as "Bottle Clix") by Magz.

Eastern Connecticut State University alumna Kaylee DeFelice '19 recently co-authored a paper with Psychology Professor James Diller titled "Intersectional Feminism and Behavior Analysis." The paper will appear in an upcoming issue of "Behavior Analysis in Practice," a prestigious transnational journal.

On Oct. 27, Eastern Connecticut State University student Dana Meyer '19, presented a research project at the New England Historical Association's (NEHA) annual fall conference in Storrs, CT.

Eleven students from Eastern Connecticut State University presented the results of their undergraduate research at the Northeast Regional Research Conference of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC). Eastern was one of eight colleges to participate in the symposium, which was held at the State University of New York (SUNY) in Geneseo on Oct. 12-13.

Kelly Bielonko '18 of Willington is one of two Eastern Connecticut State University students studying under a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant this summer as part of the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Sites program. The Social-Behavioral Research Training in American Indian Community-Based Projects REU provides a 10-week, hands-on research experience and training activities.
