For a relatively small campus of 4,400 students, the “Warriors” of Eastern Connecticut State University do a lot. They conduct high-quality research and present in conferences across the country. They perform in stunning theatrical productions and produce award-winning artwork. They compete on championship athletic teams and participate in more than 90 clubs. Local Eastern Students have become members of Accounting Society

One of the approximately 70 student clubs and organizations at Eastern Connecticut State University is Eastern's Accounting Society. The purpose of the Accounting Society is to provide its members with accounting experience and opportunities outside of the classroom. Active participation in events allows students informal and formal contact with accounting professionals. The Accounting Society encourages the professional and personal development of an individual by enhancing communication and organizational skills; as well as developing a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.

RAs at Eastern are carefully selected and trained to help dormitory residents create an environment that is conducive to individual and social growth. Each RA creates recreational, educational and community service programming to involve students in the residence hall community and the community at large. RAs also assist individual students in their social and personal development.
