Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its fall 2018 Dean's List for full-time and part-time students.

Twenty psychology students expanded their worldview over winter session during a global field course in Hawaii. Titled "Cross-Cultural Well-Being and Relationships in Hawaii," the course ran from Jan. 2-11. Students were immersed in the local culture and visited some of the island chain's most breathtaking sites.

The trip, which took place Nov. 10-11, included students enrolled in either History Professor Barbara Tucker's Civil War and Reconstruction or Professor Thomas Balcerski's Antebellum America courses.

They presented their research titled "The Effect of External Dissociation of Attention on the Duration of a Plank to Maximum Exhaustion, Performed by Male Collegiate Soccer Players."
