For a relatively small campus of 4,400 students, the “Warriors” of Eastern Connecticut State University do a lot. They conduct high-quality research and present in conferences across the country. They perform in stunning theatrical productions and produce award-winning artwork. They compete on championship athletic teams and participate in more than 90 clubs. The University's 130th annual Commencement Exercises occurred via YouTube on May 19 amid the COVID-19 pandemic on the same day the University had planned to hold its graduation ceremony at Hartford's XL Center.
