For a relatively small campus of 4,400 students, the “Warriors” of Eastern Connecticut State University do a lot. They conduct high-quality research and present in conferences across the country. They perform in stunning theatrical productions and produce award-winning artwork. They compete on championship athletic teams and participate in more than 90 clubs. They broaden their perspectives through internships, studying abroad, and engaging in the wider community.

Senior Caleb Eriksen, an outside linebacker/defensive end, has anchored the unit. After an outstanding performance against the University of Hartford, Ericksen was named National Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 1.
